Haddock has a lean and mild flavor with a medium texture and small flakes. It is similar to cod, but tends to be slightly sweeter and more tender. Available frozen year-round and fresh during season.


Cooking Tips

Haddock can be use in place of cod, but is excellent for poaching and pan searing (its meat holds together better than cod).
