Flavor Profile
Bronzini are a Mediterranean Sea Bass that although mild in flavor, has a very rich buttery flavor due to its higher fat content. They have a nice medium flake that isn’t too soft but also not overly firm.
Cooking Tips & Recipes
The general rule for cooking (applies to most fish): Cook at 400F for 10 minutes per inch of thickness. Add 5 minutes if cooked in parchment, tin foil, or a heavy sauce. Bronzini responds well to all cooking methods. Substitutions include Chilean Seabass, Grouper, Barramundi.
