Flavor Profile
Harvested from Chum Salmon, Salmon caviar (typically called Ikura), is the largest variety of fish egg. Bright orange in color, Ikura’s texture is what makes it unique. Each piece bursts as you eat it, releasing a salty and moderately salmon-flavored brine.
Cooking Tips & Recipes
Ikura is traditionally served raw as a topping to many different sushi dishes.
Thawing Instructions:
Remove seal from package. Thaw under refrigeration immediately before consumption.
If a quicker thawing process is required, thaw under cool, running water.
This product can be consumed raw.
